The Western North Carolina Herb Marketing Association was formed in 2017 to support the growers of herbs and makers of herbal products in the western North Carolina region.
Begun in 1990, the WNC branch of the NC Herb Association oversaw the festival. We established our own nonprofit organization in 2017 to focus on the mountain region.
The Spring Herb Festival is our main event of the year. The Festival is generally held at the Exhibition Hall at the WNC AGRICULTURAL CENTER. You’ll find the Ag Center on Boylston Highway/Airport Road, just south of the Asheville Airport.
